To Lead The Wireless Non Line-of-Sight Internet Service Provider.
MIAMI,
FLORIDA, October 5, 2002 -- WISP Networks today announced the
appointment of Vince Vazquez as Senior Vice President and Chief
Operations Officer. Mr. Vazquez will be responsible for deploying
and driving the vision and business strategy as WISP Networks moves
into the deployment phase of a non Line-of-Sight last mile solution
wireless service to customers in Miami Dade, Florida. Mr. Vazquez
will commence on October 25, 2002. Mr. Dominguez will continue to
lead the Company as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Strategic
Officer. Mr. Dominguez is a decorated veteran of the Desert Storm
Conflict with an outstanding record of public and military service
having a 16-year career in the United States Army as a commissioned
officer and a 8-year career with the Miami Dade Fire Rescue
Department. Strategy is a forte for Mr. Dominguez.
Prior to joining WISP Networks, Mr. Vazquez has spent 15 years in
the technology field as founder and Chief Executive Officer of
CompuLab, Inc., As Executive Vice President and CTO of AccessPro
Communications, in 1995, Mr. Vazquez became known as a visionary by
deploying the first 56K ISP in Florida. In 1998, he was instrumental
in the planning and development of one of the first privately held,
nationwide DSL providers. As Executive Vice-President and CTO of
DSLi, Inc. Mr. Vazquez was a key player in the strategic
relationships with NorthPoint Communications, Rythyms, Tiger Direct,
and 3Com, which were a key factor in DSLi's initial success. In
2000, Mr. Vazquez was appointed Vice-President of Latin America (CALA)
for Nx Networks. His responsibilities were to restructure operations
and develop new relationships throughout the region.

President and CTO of I-Titan Communication Networks, Inc., where he
was instrumental in securing $4 million first round private funding.
Mr. Dominguez also deployed a successful proof of concept for Cable
and Wireless, Kingston, Jamaica connecting three of their Central
Offices in Kingston, Jamaica. “Prior, Mr. Dominguez was the
President and Chief Executive Officer of PHIcom, Inc., where he was
responsible for acquiring the title for PHIcom as;" The
Exclusive Internet Service Provider and Integration Manager of Super
Bowl XXXIII " in Miami, Florida in 1999.
